We use it at the first sign of a cold. The complex, made up of orange oblong pills, contains 120 mg of vitamin C, 5 mg of chelate zinc, and a blend of herbs. When symptoms appear, I administer one tablet 2-3 times daily for adults and children over 10. We don't use it as a preventative measure but start taking it at the first signs of illness. It has helped my family stop symptoms quickly, making it a valuable addition to our medicine cabinet during the cold season.
